losOlivos is set in over 20 acres of farmed land full of centenary olive trees and surrounded by the stunning Sierra Nevada National Park, only 30 kms from the city of Granada and 30 kms from the Coast. (For more detailed driving instructions see the programme).

The finca is on a plateau elevated 1100 metres above sea level with wonderful views of mountains, valleys and on a clear day of the Mediterranean sea.

There are many ways to reach losOlivos. You could drive from the UK in about 2 days, fly to Malaga (Granada or Almeria) airports and then hire a car or we can arrange a transfer for you. Alternatively you could take the train (see http://www.seat61.com/Spain.htm for details).

Daniel Muñoz, an Anglican minister and theologian, has led art and spirituality projects in parish churches across the Oxford Diocese (UK). He is the founder of the “Art and Spirituality Network” (in Marlow, Buckinghamshire), where he worked as a Vicar until the end of 2009. Daniel is the chaplain of losOlivos and oversees the spiritual and artistic life of the centre, as well as the yearly programme of retreats and courses.

Guy Wynter has extensive experience in the business world, particularly in the healthcare field, where he worked for 15 years at GlaxoSmithKline and GE Healthcare. He is also a musician and photographer with a special interest in Celtic spirituality. Guy is the commercial director of losOlivos.

carmen Carmen Alvarez, professional flamenco dancer and choreographer with internation experience. She runs the Cueva de la Luz flamenco studio near Granada.
john John Bell, member of the Iona Community, ordained minister, hymnwriter, preacher and occasional broadcaster. He travels worldwide conducting seminars and retreats.
bevan Philip Bevan is an Anglican priest with wide experience and formation in the Eastern Orthodox tradition. He has a particular interest in liturgy and Orthodox spirituality,
cotterel Stephen Cottrell, Bishop of Chelmsford, theologian, prolific Christian writer, art critic and an inspirational retreat leader. Stephen has a particluar interest in Church and mission.
harper Rosie Harper previously a professional opera singer she is currently Vicar of Gt. Missenden and Bishop's chaplain. Rosie is passionate about equality and inclusivity.
lamdin Keith Lamdin, principal of Sarum College (Salisbury), Anglican priest, coach and mentor with a wide experience in leadership training and adult formation.

Vincenzo Scarafile, professional singer and choir conductor. Vincenzo is currently Alto Lay Clerk at Christ Church Cathedral in Oxford (UK).

colin Colin Thompson, author and expert on the poetry and spirituality of John of the Cross, has spent the last 20 years of his life as lecturer in the Spanish Golden Age at Oxford University.
alan Alan Wilson, Bishop of Buckingham, Church historian and theologian. Alan contributes regularly to The Guardian and has a personal interest in human rights and the Church.
